Senior advocate Vikas Singh, the family lawyer of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has expressed surprise about the questioning of the main suspects in custody.
He told PTI, “I am a little surprised because if they are looking into all the aspects then they should have done custodial interrogation of the named accused and also of the people who were living at his residence.”
“Why have they not done custodial interrogation till date. Wherever there is mystery involved, custodial interrogation is required in such cases,” he added.
CBI responded to the lawyer, saying that the probe is continuing and they are looking into all the angles.
Last year, the 34-year-old actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment on 14th June. Later, Mumbai police handed over the case to CBI.
