Lockdown relaxation: B-town actors set to resume shooting

A few months ago, the Maharashtra government banned the shooting of films, Television serials and advertisements across the state to control the increasing number of COVID-19 infections.

Now, due to a steady decline in the daily cases of COVID-19, the government has announced a 5-tier unlock strategy allowing the shooting of films and shows in the state.

Many Bollywood celebs are all set to resume shooting of their films in June. The teams will be following all COVID-19 protocols while shooting the film.

Amitabh Bachchan

After a lockdown of almost two months, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to come back to work on the sets of his upcoming Vikas Bahl’s film GoodBye. Big-B shared the update through his blog. It also stars actress Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role.

Varun Dhawan

Actor Varun Dhawan is now all set to resume shooting in Mumbai for Amar Kaushik’s comedy horror film Bhediya. The makers had completed maximum part of shooting in Arunachal Pradesh during lockdown. The film also stars actress Kriti Sanon as the female lead. The film will be released theatrically on 14 April 2022.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt and Gangubai Kathiawadi’s team is all set to resume shoot this month in Mumbai. Gangubai Kathiawadi is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biographical crime drama film based on the book of S. Hussain Zaidi’s Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The film also has cameo appearance of Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi.
